No New Posts Quidditch Pitch

It is regularly used for practice by the house teams, and has enough terracing and/or seating to accommodate much of the school when a game is played.

Diagon Alley

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes

The new joke shop set up by Fred and George Weasley to sell their joke products. Located at Number 93, Diagon Alley, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes specializes in Headless Hats, Skiving Snackboxes, WonderWitch products, Portable Swamps, Canary Creams, and a vast selection of fireworks. All of the products have been carefully tested, both on a string of gullible Hogwarts students during the twins' last year at the school

No New Posts Quality Quidditch Supplies

This shop is always guaranteed to have a crowd of gawping young witches and wizards hanging around it, as it stocks (amongst other things) the latest and most advanced Quidditch broomsticks that Galleons can buy.

No New Posts Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands Since 382BC

The most popular supplier of wands to the British wizarding population, it seems as though all present and former Hogwarts students got their wands here. Mr. Ollivander is a slightly strange old man with silvery eyes are rather creepy. He also has a remarkable memory, being able to remember every wand he has ever sold. The shop itself is tiny, with walls lined from floor to ceiling with wand boxes. Mr Ollivander attends to each customer himself, handing him or her a succession of wands until the optimum match for the witch or wizard in question is found

No New Posts Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions

This shop is the place to buy your Hogwarts uniform, and robes for all other purposes as well. Each set of robes is made to measure, although this process doesn't take particularly long thanks to enchanted tape measures. Madam Malkin herself is a squat, smiley witch with a preference for dressing in mauve. Normally a composed witch, Madam Malkin is flustered and jittery during the summer

No New Posts Gringotts

The wizard bank. The Diagon Alley branch is a snowy-white building that towers over the other shops. It has burnished bronze doors, and is staffed entirely by Goblins. Gringotts differs from other banks in that instead of investing the money deposited by its customers, it simply places it in locked vaults located in a series of catacombs below the building. Therefore, when you return to collect your money, you get exactly the same coins back that you left there, and you don't get any interest. On the plus side, Gringotts is deemed impossible to steal from.

No New Posts Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop

Come and buy Their Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks here. This joke shop is now direct competition to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

No New Posts Flourish and Blotts

Flourish and Blotts stocks a wide range of books that are stacked from floor to ceiling: some leather-bound and as big as paving stones, some tiny and covered in silk, and some that have to be kept in a cage to stop them attacking passersby. They regretted their purchase of 200 copies of the Invisible Book of Invisibility when they couldn't find them and had to take the loss on the whole lot. They equally regretted stocking the Monster Book of Monsters

Hogsmeade

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Shrieking Shack

The most haunted place in Britain! Situated somewhat uphill from central Hogsmeade, the ruined house is avoided by the villagers, Hogwarts ghosts, If anyone were to get inside, they would be surprised at what they saw: stains everywhere, bite marks on furniture, other pieces of furniture shattered. The interior of the Shack bears evidence to a much more physical haunting than any ghosts are capable of, although it also shows signs of disuse--peeling wallpaper and a blanket of dust over everything.

No New Posts The Three Broomsticks

A more popular inn than the Hog's Head, the Three Broomsticks sits on the High Street. It is often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky—but clean and welcoming. A mirror behind the bar reflects the cosy atmosphere, and drinks are served in glasses and in pewter tankards

No New Posts Madam Puddifoot's

This tea shop is popular with young couples on Hogsmeade weekends. A small shop located on a side street, it tends to be a bit stuffy inside due to the crowds. The windows steam up and the gaudy tables and chairs are all claimed by teenagers holding hands or kissing over cups of tea and coffee. A bell over the door announces customers; the round tables are decorated with lacy napkins and (undoubtedly flowered) china sugar bowls

No New Posts Hog's Head

The Hog's Head sits at the end of a side street, marked by a sign depicting a boar's head dripping blood onto a white cloth. When the wind blows, the sign squeaks on its rusted bracket. The inn has only one room for the bar. Dirt is packed over the stone floor and hardly any sunshine filters through the filthy bay windows. The room is dimly lit by candle stumps on each wooden table. A goaty odor permeates the whole place. As the glasses and bottles are very dirty, and "cleaned" with very dirty rags, some patrons will bring their own beverage receptacles. A fair few of the patrons keep their identities concealed, as they have illicit agendas.

No New Posts Honeydukes

The sweetshop Honeydukes is nearly everyone's favourite.
Located on the High Street of Hogsmeade. A wooden staircase leads behind the counter of the shop. Honeydukes is lined with shelves of all kinds of sweets. Here one finds the traditional toffees and coconut ices, nougats and chocolates and fudge, and also magical sweets. Examples of these are, of course, Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans, Jelly Slugs, acid pops, and Fizzing Whizbees. Their range of "Special Effects" sweets includes quills made of sugar; Toothflossing Stringmints, Droobles Best Blowing Gum, the indigo bubbles of which linger for days; toad-shaped peppermint creams that leap in one's belly (hopefully not for days); exploding bonbons; Ice Mice to make one's teeth chatter; Pepper Imps to make one exhale smoke and flames; and sherbet balls that make one levitate. The shop caters to "Unusual Tastes" in one corner, boasting items such as thingyroach clusters, and blood-flavoured lollipops for vampires.

No New Posts Dervish and Banges

This shop sells and repairs magical equipment, such as Sneakoscopes. It is located at the end of the High Street on the road leading to the edge of Hogsmeade

No New Posts Post Office

The Hogsmeade Post Office boasts at least three-hundred owls perched on shelves. Various breeds and sizes are available, depending on the speed needed for delivery, and they wear color-coded bands accordingly. The smallest are the palm-sized Scops, and the biggest the Post Office boasts are the Great Greys. The Post Office is located on the High Street.
